Projekt eTwinning: “International cookbook and festivities book 2.0”

Wir kochen Rezepte unserer Partnerschulen!
Im Rahmen der Conti-Uni im Jänner 2015 haben die Klassen 1A und 2B Rezepte ihrer Partnerschulen aus London, Spanien und Rumänien gekocht.
Beide Klassen arbeiten in einem eTwinning Projekt mit dem Titel „International cookbook and festivities book 2.0“ (www.etwinning.net). Gemeinsam mit den Partnerschulen wird an einem Koch- und Traditionenbuch bzw. e -journal gearbeitet. Ziel des Projekts ist, dass sich die Partnerschulen über das Kochen und das Austauschen von Rezepten und Traditionen näher kennenlernen und auch das jeweils andere Land auf diesem Weg erforschen.
Unterrichtssprache: Englisch und Deutsch
200g alomonds
2 garlic gloves
100g white bread (bread crumbs)
oil, vinegar, cool water
white Grapes
Preparation:
Mix almonds, garlic and salt together with oil, vinegar and water. Serve very cold with breadcrumbs and grapes.
COOKIES (London/ Great Britain)
175g dark chocolate (60% cocoa solids)
85g butter
2 eggs
200g brown soft sugar
(1 tbsp black treacle (dunkler Rübensirup/ Melasse))
1 tsp vanilla extract
185g plain flour
1 tbsp good-quality cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
50g dark chocolate (chocolate Drops)
100g white chocolate (optional)
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Chop the chocolate and put it in a heatproof bowl with the butter, then melt until smooth.
Separate one of the eggs. Put the yolk, the whole egg, sugar, treacle and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for about 1 minute, until the mixture becomes smooth.
Beat in the melted chocolate and butter.
Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl, then sift them over the chocolate mixture. Stir together to make a soft dough, then stir in the chocolate Drops.
Spoon heaped tablespoons of dough onto the baking trays – put chocolate drops onto the Cookies.
Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
Optioanl: Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the cookies.
APFELSTRUDEL – apple strudel (Austria/ Österreich)
Dough: Filling:
250g plain flour 1kg apples
1 egg 100g sugar
1/8 cold water 1 package vanilla sugar
60g melted butter 100g breadcrumbs
1 pinch of salt 100g ground nuts
80g butter
50g raisins
ground cinnamon, lemon juice
Preparation:
For the dough mix all the ingredients together and knead until smooth. Put the dough into the fridge for about 30 minutes.
For the filling put the butter in a pan and roast the breadcrumbs and the ground nuts.
Peel the apples and chop them into small pieces. Mix them with the breadcrumbs and the nuts.
Add sugar, raisins, vanilla sugar, ground cinnamon and a little lemon Juice.
Stretch the dough and fill it with the apples – roll the dough up with the filling.
Put it into the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
